E CITY (Entrepreneurship: Connecting, Inspiring & Teaching Youth) teaches youth business, financial literacy and entrepreneurship skills. The primary goal of E CITY is to teach teens how to develop a business plan and also connect youth to employment.

E CITY is structured on the belief that many teens have mental toughness, street smarts, survival instincts, and creativity – qualities that are key traits of successful entrepreneurship and that, if shown how, teens can build on these traits to achieve success in the business world.

Each participant receives a business investment stipend to start their business. During the course, business volunteers work as one-on-one coaches with the teens.

Top students from each school will compete at the E CITY Young Entrepreneur of the Year Competition at the Ernst & Young building on May 16th, 2018. The winner will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship from Ernst & Young.

JOIN US! Watch the top five students present their business plans and be among the first to hear who is announced as the E CITY Young Entrepreneur of the Year.

Immediately following, network over appetizers and spend time taking in the view from the Ernst & Young high-rise on the Flats East Bank.
